The Book of My Life

The book has been my imagination
The fiction with a realistic presence
The book could only disperse poverty
Psychic, spiritual, and economic want

Good many a writer, novelist, poet,
Dramatist inherited the value innate
Even when the print Renaissance
Was out of thinking, book in any form

Would spread the values the monks
Strove immensely to educate the masses
This had been the only tool to free
Mankind from parochial to progress.

The material age couldn’t deter them
In filling up the emptiness, cultural,
Social, emotional, societal, familial
Through the precept of ethnic tenet

My life has been my living book
It teaches us the values of humanity
Its variegated colours add to learn
The amelioration of the living condition

Illiteracy is a national curse and its
Black stain takes any nation down
All fronts falter for want of a mind
Apperceptive and intelligent for good
