Lake View at Morn
The man-made lake uniquely located
Pelicans in a single line formation
Paddling around as in a course drill
Well detailed; and they looked upbeat
The slower wave in the morning winds
These migratory birds gingerly swam
For the prey; fishes were fishy about mortals
Some fishermen boated on it
Look adept in netting fish
By the side of lake stood a garden
Different flowers looked agile in toils
In its silence the birds’ chirping sounds
Louder than usual; men on the basket boat
Busy talking in regional dialect
It seemed Greek to me; stood awestruck
Morning joggers’ paradise, they craved for
Gardeners were busy mulching the flower plants;
Like mothers reared their children fondly
The reddish sun was becoming diffused
The atmosphere around appeared conscious
We were vegetating on the boarder of the lake
Some strange insects were busy in recollection
Running everywhere to find the lost fad
On the water, deeper than our imagination
Floated our bubble of romantic leanings
Skyscrapers outside indicated their majesty
Their gravity filled us with architectural glow,
Diminished compared to nature’s inherent caring
We humans were just the miniature creature
Looked happy on the surface, brittle and
A serene softness surpassed all thoughts -
